Warsaw sport facilities are designed both for spectators and participants. As for spectator sport, football provides some decent shows. Legia Warszawa, an army club with nationwide popularity, plays at at Stadion Wojska Polskiego. Polonia, their close rival, enjoys slightly lesser popularity, but boasts League championship in 2000.

The city's many parks have jogging tracks, tennis courts. Kampinos National Park near the city is perfect for hiking. There are many horse riding schools and tracks.  Fitness studios offer any type of workout programs. Sport Hall Kolo and Calypso Fitness Club are among the most popular. Vistula River provides many possibilities for boating, sailing, rowing, catamaran sports.
